For example, one of the words that I painted on my floor was FUN. As I painted it, I imagined the feeling that I was having fun and felt it in my heart. Then I felt thankful that my goal of having fun was achieved. Intention is the most important part of Feng Shui.

What kinds of things did I write on the floor? Try this for yourself. Everyone has a different idea of what prosperity means to them. What three adjectives describe what you think abundance means?

For example: Fun. So, say you're broke. What can you do to create that same feeling of having fun with out having any money? When you have fun you create that feeling of being prosperous too!

We are replacing our floor in the den from dingy gray carpet to cherry laminate. The den just happens to be in the prosperity area of the house. Feng shui cures do not have to be seen to work, so I got to work, and had a ball painting words, using significant colors, and symbolic shapes to enhance abundance energy in our lives on the sub flooring. Cures don't have to be seen to work.

But why? These things are very Yin energy. In other words they represent death, stagnation, darkness fear etc. The symbols in our living and working spaces effect us whether we are aware of it or not. It is important to use your stove. The is the symbol of prosperity in your home so it needs to be used. Make sure that you have healthy, wholesome food in your kitchen/ Prosperity and abundance go hand in hand..

It was written by a feng shui master who was also a psychoanalyst. He taught me that the feng shui is also about psychology As a lover of science, that surprised me because I didn't think that was what feng shui was. But it is! The first exercise in the book was to check your cash. What state is it in, how do you store it?
Is is neatly arranged in a wallet? or bunched up in a pocket here and there? I must confess that mine was the latter. My cash was wadded up in my pocket.
