Oh my sore feet! I just got back from Michigan and went there to cross country ski for Martin Luther King Day weekend.
I got blisters the size of quarters on my heels from the new boots I got for Christmas. The test ski that I did with the new gear in Ohio didn't give a clue as to the damage that would occur in the woods of Mich.
What a cute rustic cabin we stayed in. It had the lovely wooden beams exposed in the ceiling. One beam was right over my feet as I lay in the squeaky bed. Wow! I knew that feng shui can work quickly but didn't think that I would feel the damages immediately on a long weekend ski trip. Now I wish I would have made the cure when it occurred to me as I checked out the accommodations. Live and Learn!
